Kibworth Band

Our focus over the last few weeks has been on the Midlands Area Contest on Sunday 8 March.

The Band earned promotion to the Championship Section from January this year and as such will be up against the premier bands in this area, notably GUS, Desford and Ratby. We’re not expecting to win, but we’ll do our best to put on a good performance despite the extra rehearsals.

Leading up to the contest the band have welcomed Stuart Innes and Kay Speed-Andrews back to the Band along with the new signing of Kay’s partner Phillip Hadley and Birmingham Conservatoire student Will Keeble, all on cornet.
