Fleckney Spinners – March 2026
League Results
February started well with a 6/4 win for Fleckney 1(F1) against Desford 2 (D2). This excellent result eases F1’s fear of relegation. The next day it was a 6/4 defeat for F4 against Winstanley Wizards 6 (WW6) with two good wins for Jan Green and one each for Matt Tattershall and Mike Miles. Winstanley’s two youngsters played well. Syston 5 (S5) beat F3 6/4 with Wes Gaulds holding firm for Syston in what was a very competitive match. There was a 7/3 defeat for F4 against D4 on 11 February but another point and another double for Lennon Devlin, a game for Omar Morsy and a very tight doubles match too. Regents Sports 2 (RS2) beat F3 7/3 on the 12 February with Jan Green, Naresh Shah and Pete Wilson winning one game each.
Upcoming Events
We play on Wednesday nights at Kibworth Mead Academy’s Main Hall and all are welcome. The first session is free. Coaching is free. During the Easter break we intend to have practice sessions without coaching.
