More Than Just a Shop: How Your Wardrobe Powers Our Community
In the heart of our village is our shop that does much more than sell clothes. Our pre-loved clothing boutique is a key part of our charity, and every item donated or purchased plays a vital role in keeping our doors open.
Supporting Our Mission
Running a charity comes with essential costs the “overheads” like rent, heating, and lighting that allow us to provide our core services to the community. The income generated by our shop provides a stable foundation, ensuring that we can focus our resources where they are needed most. When you buy a jacket or a pair of boots from us, you aren’t just getting a bargain; you are directly funding local support systems.

A Win-Win for People and Planet
Our shop is built on three pillars of community value:
Sustainability: We give beautiful clothing a second lease on life, keeping textiles out of landfills and promoting a more conscious way of living.
Affordability: We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality, stylish clothing. Our shop ensures that local families can find great items lower than high-street prices.
Opportunity: Our shop is powered by a dedicated team of volunteers. We offer a space for local people to gain retail experience, build confidence, and forge lifelong friendships.

We Need Your Help: Current Shortages –
To keep our rails full, we rely entirely on the generosity of our neighbours. Lately, our stock levels have dropped, and we are currently in urgent need of donations to meet local demand.
We are particularly looking for:
- Ladieswear: Tops, trousers, and jeans.
- Childrenswear: Items for all ages, from newborns to teens.
- Menswear: T-shirts, jeans/trousers, jackets, jumpers and hoodies, in sizes Medium and Large.
If you are having a seasonal clear-out, please consider bringing your items to us. Every bag makes a massive difference!

Please note: As we are volunteer-led, our Saturday hours can vary. We kindly advise readers to call ahead to confirm we are open before making a special trip on the weekend.
