Kibworth Bowls Club – February 2026
Our members have just returned from our annual visit to Potters Resort, Hopton-on-Sea, where the World Indoor Bowls Championships took place. As always, we were really impressed by the bowling skills demonstrated and hope we can be as good one day! We thoroughly enjoyed the weekend and were able to partake in a wide range of other indoor activities such as swimming, quizzes, line dancing and a barn dance boogie. Outside we took part in archery and air rifle shooting, and stretched our legs with bracing walks along the coastal path. The evening entertainment was first class and the food plentiful.
Thanks go to our lovely social secretary for organising the weekend again for us. Zoe is leaving us for pastures new and we wish her well for the future.
Back in Kibworth, our indoor carpet bowls on Mondays 2 – 4pm and 6 – 7.30pm continues to be popular. If you are thinking about trying a new hobby for the New Year then come and join us.
