Young Farmers break record

Over the weekend 3 and 4 January Norton & Gaulby Young Farmers went out across the South Leicestershire area to collect people’s Christmas trees for recycling. This year we have achieved record breaking numbers of 561 trees. We made £4494.50 all for three amazing local charities: ‘Yellow Wellies Farm Safety Foundation’ ‘Gems’ and ‘Derbyshire, Leicestershire &Rutland Air Ambulance Service.’

Why these charities? These charities are close to all our hearts in many ways and the club wants to support them in any way possible. Helping people in different ways, even if it’s making a small change, that’s all that matters to us. We would like to say a massive thank you to our regular customers and everyone who has supported us throughout the year.

Young farmers is a charitable organisation run by young people for young people, that’s why the achievement of raising this amount of money is so amazing.
