Thank you one and all

It is that time of year where it is fitting to thank all the people who have helped to make this publication a success over the last year.

I would like to thank catering chief, Moira, who besides providing ample tea and coffee has, yet again, excelled in providing the lovely mulled wine and mince pies for our December lay up as well as, earlier in the year, warm hot cross buns! Much thanks also to Robert Lawson, who prepares the Village Hall for our lay ups.

Our unsung yet diligent proofreaders, Carol Townend, Ros Holmes, Jackie Haigh, June Alexander and Ann Robinson, whose names rarely appear but are instrumental in the readability and accuracy of the articles.

Our computer wizards, Issy Hill and Antony Dobson and their ‘runner’, Frank Wilcock. What a team!

Our photograpy manager, Mike, who sorts out all the images.

Our perfectionist proofreaders who work from home: Steve Bowkett, Graham Watts, Jill Ferraby, Ros Ousey, Graham Woolloff, and Tina Stringer. All are very much valued.

Our online team of David Munnery, Sorcha Paget, Maria Relaki and Tony Dobson.

And our 160 deliverers – just too many to name, overseen and managed by Marie-Anne Beere.

And of course all those members of our lay up team whose names actually appear in the page margins plus Robert Latham who sets up our tables in readiness for lay up.

May I wish you all a restful Christmas and a relaxing New Year when we will start all over again!
