On 29 November, MSTC performed its Christmas Production, Rhyme and Treason for the final time.
This was a great success and we have been really gratified by the feedback that we received for the show. It’s great when family and friends say how much they liked it, but when strangers stop you in the street to say how they enjoyed it too, then you know that you must have done something right. Personally, my favourite piece of feedback was from a girl in Rainbows, who put a picture of the poster in her scrapbook and simply wrote: “My favourite”.
As co-director of the show, I was very pleased with all of the contributions that the cast and technical crew made. Everyone went over and above the call of duty to bring the script and the songs alive. We loved the way the audience received us with such enthusiasm
Plans are in place for our next production, which will take place in May. Currently, we are looking at a farce, Funny Money, by Ray Cooney. We had a read through at Kibworth Community Hub on Tuesday 9 December.
