Bridge 67 Butchers

Did you know that Bridge 67 Butchers stock a fantastic range of over 30 British Cheeses? If you didn’t and you’re a cheese lover, then you certainly need to know about their Cheese Festival on the Saturday 6 December at the Kibworth Community Hub (formerly Kibworth Grammar School Hall) between 10am – 4pm.

Cheese festival

The Cheese Festival started five years ago as a small event based at the on-farm cookery school, with the objective to allow customers to taste cheeses and to use the cheese booklet to make notes and therefore compiling a list of cheeses to then buy from the shop for Christmas.

Today this event has developed into a glorious celebration of Bridge 67 Butchers and their collaborated partners. Not only can you taste over 30 all-British cheeses using the updated cheese booklet, Oven and Hob will be showcasing their wonderful cakes and desserts. Tom from Fords Kitchen will be presenting his up and coming courses and events. Duncan Murray Wines will be guiding you through the wine tasting for Christmas. Newstead Honey will be showcasing their wonderful locally made honey and just in case you need a coffee, Roaming Giraffe will be serving refreshments.

This year there will be a nominal entry fee of £2.50 for all adults, with under 15s free. There’s no need to book. Please be patient if you do have to queue. We look forward to seeing you on the 6th of December.
