Kibworth Parent’s Association
The KPA held our first meeting of the year recently. We have lots of exciting events planned for the rest of the school year. Our next event will be our Christmas Raffle which consists of wonderful prizes and hampers all generously donated by our community. If you would like to donate a prize for this year’s raffle please contact us at raffle@kpakibworth.org.uk and thank you for your support. Details on how to purchase tickets will be shared in early December.
Our next meeting will be our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 25 November at The Swan, Kibworth. We encourage all parents and school staff to attend as this is a really important meeting for our charity.
We are pleased to share that we have had our first local winner of The Parents Lottery. For those who have not heard, the KPA has signed up to The Parents Lottery. This is a national lottery run by Parentkind to help support PTAs across the country. Draws happen weekly and there is a chance to win from £5 to £25,000. Tickets cost just £1 each and 60p of this cost comes back to support our charity. To enter visit www.theparentslottery.org and search for Kibworth Parents Association or KPA.
December will be a busy month for our school pupils and this includes the pantomime trips for the KS1 and KS2 pupils. We are pleased to again have been able to fully fund the coaches for these trips to help provide children with what will undoubtedly be a wonderful experience.
