Thank you to our local heroes: celebrating Harvest Festival and the Spirit of Giving

The Well, Kibworth

As we celebrate this year’s Harvest Festival, we are reminded of the true meaning of community — coming together to share what we have and support one another. This season, the local food bank has been deeply moved by the generosity of our community.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all the local organisations, schools, churches, and businesses who have donated food and funds to help us support those in need. Your kindness ensures that families across our area have access to nourishing meals during the colder months ahead.

Thanks to your contributions, our shelves are well-stocked with essentials such as tinned goods, pasta, rice, and toiletries. These are items that make a real difference to people’s daily lives. Every tin, every packet, and every act of generosity represents hope and care within our community.

Harvest is a time to give thanks for what we have, but it’s also a time to remember that together, we can make sure no one in our community goes hungry. Your compassion and generosity embody the very best of the Harvest spirit.

From all of us at The Well, thank you for helping us harvest hope this season.

Amazing summer raffle success!

We are delighted to share that our Summer Raffle was a fantastic success. We raised an amazing £2,000 to support our ongoing work here at The Well.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who bought tickets, spread the word, and helped make this event such a success. Your support means so much and helps us continue to provide vital assistance to local people and families in need.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the many local businesses that so generously donated prizes. Your kindness and community spirit made our raffle extra special and gave everyone something exciting to look forward to.

Together, we’ve shown what can be achieved when our community comes together and every penny raised will go directly towards helping those who rely on our support.
