The Kibworth & District Chronicle Back Catalogue Goes Digital

We’ve got some exciting news to share with our readers. After three years of hard work, late nights, and plenty of cups of tea, the Kibworth & District Chronicle team has finally finished scanning our entire back catalogue! Every single issue, right back to the very first edition, is now available online for you to browse, search, and enjoy.

Decades of history

For decades, the Chronicle has been telling the stories of all our villages – local events, school achievements, sports matches, community debates, and personal milestones. Our old issues are like a time machine, capturing moments big and small that have shaped Kibworth and the surrounding villages. Until recently, though, you’d have needed to dig through boxes of fragile papers to see them.

That all changed three years ago! A group of volunteers decided it was time to bring our archives into the digital age. Since then, they’ve painstakingly scanned thousands of pages and photographs, cataloguing each issue so that everything is easy to find. It’s been a true labour of love, and we’re thrilled to be able to share the results with you.
