School Wins National Teaching Award

We are absolutely delighted to share that our Foundation Stage team at Kibworth Primary has been honoured with the Pearson National Teaching Bronze Award for ‘Early Years Team of the Year 2025’. This prestigious accolade, awarded by the Pearson National Teaching Awards, celebrates the exceptional dedication, creativity, and impact of early years educators across the UK.

The Pearson National Teaching Awards, were established in 1998 by Lord Puttnam. They are often referred to as the’Oscars of education’. They recognise the life-changing work of teachers and school staff who inspire and nurture the next generation. This year’s awards saw a record number of nominations, making our team’s achievement even more remarkable.
Our Foundation Stage team stood out for their unwavering commitment to creating a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment where our youngest learners thrive. Their work goes far beyond the classroom—fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning that lays the foundation for lifelong success.
Headteacher Mrs Nikki Matthew shared, “This award is a testament to the passion and professionalism of our Early Years team. Every day, they bring energy, empathy, and excellence to their work. We are so proud to see their efforts recognised on a national stage.”
As we celebrate this incredible milestone, we’d also like to make families aware that a small number of EYFS places remain available for the 2025/26 academic year. We warmly welcome prospective parents and carers to visit and see for themselves the vibrant, caring, and inspiring environment that makes our school such a special place to begin a child’s educational journey.
To arrange a visit or learn more about our EYFS provision, please contact the school office. office@dsatkibworth.org We’d love to show you what makes Kibworth a truly exceptional place to begin your child’s educational journey.

Kibworth CE Primary School Summer Fair
June saw the return of the Primary School summer fair which hadn’t taken place since the Covid lockdowns.
It is with huge thanks to the Kibworth Parents Association that this spectacular event took place. We were thrilled to welcome so many families and members of the community to the fair. From games and stalls to delicious treats and entertainment, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The glorious weather was just perfect and the hard work and incredible organisation was well worth it. We would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers and staff who made the day possible. In total we raised £2,600! We hope to see many more families at the next summer fair!
