Foxton Community Choir
Foxton Community Choir would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported our ‘Summer Dreamin’’ concert in June, on one of the hottest nights of the year. It was an evening of great music, love and laughter, with the choir performing a range of toe-tapping tunes alongside traditional choral pieces. The choir is now gearing up for another busy year, starting in September when we begin preparing for our Christmas concert which will take place on Friday 12 December.
We meet on Thursday evenings from 7:30 until 9pm in St. Andrew’s Church in Foxton. There are no auditions, you don’t need to read music and subs are very affordable, (less than £4 per week). So, if you’re free on Thursday evenings and looking to make some new local connections, we’d love to welcome you.
Our thanks also go to Harborough Theatre as the choir will benefit from a gala performance of ‘Lilies on the Land’ at the theatre on Monday 22 September at 7.30pm. The play follows four women who sign up to become Land Girls in the 1940s to do their bit for the war effort.
