Make a Difference!

The Rotary Club of Kibworth & Fleckney has agreed to support the recently formed Ukrainian Rotary Impact Club of Rutland. Their inaugural project has been launched in support of those in need of medical equipment in Ukraine. The club was founded by a group of fifteen very enthusiastic and inspiring people fleeing war, all with different backgrounds and from different cities in Ukraine.

The ongoing war has created a critical demand for essential items such as wheelchairs, hoists, crutches and much else besides. Please donate your unused or surplus medical equipment. Repairs can be made; equipment given a second life and sent to those in desperate need.
Seeking clean, good condition equipment — second-hand is more than welcome if functional:
Mobility Aids:
- Manual and folding wheelchairs (adult or child-sized)
- Electrical wheelchairs in working condition
- Transit chairs
- Rollators, walking aids with wheels and walking frames
- Crutches and walking sticks
- Zimmer frames
Other Equipment:
- Shower chairs, commodes, raised toilet seats
- Pressure-relief cushions and pads
- Manual or electric hospital beds (space permitting)
- Hoists (manual or electric, in working order)
Additional Items (if available):
- Spare wheelchair parts (tyres, brakes, footrests)
- Reusable incontinence pads
- Unopened first aid supplies (e.g. gloves, dressings)
Transport can be arranged periodically to collect a number of individual donations all in one go.
