A living millennium project now is 25 years old

At now a quarter of a century old. It is to be found along Langton Road, Foxton and it’s a wonderful lasting display. It is the Foxton Millennium Avenue.
One of the projects undertaken to commemorate the arrival of the third millennium back in the year 2000 was the installation of 150 English oaks. Each tree was sponsored by either an individual or a family who was residing in the village or with a connection to Foxton.
A diorama is conveniently located in the corridor of the Robert Monk Hall in Foxton. It provides detailed information about the trees’ exact locations and the sponsoring individuals/families.
We eagerly anticipate the maturation of these trees over the coming years.
Well done, Foxton!
