Celebrating 20 Years of Beauty and Community
This August, Liz Ives will be celebrating an incredible milestone. 20 years on the High Street in Kibworth with her much-loved salon, ’The Beauty Room’.
Over the years, Liz, along with Jenna and the team, has been dedicated to pampering the local community. Providing top-quality treatments using premium brands such as Guinot Facials, Mii Nails, Tisserand Aromatherapy, and St. Tropez spray tans. Always staying ahead of the curve, Liz recently introduced micro-needling, continuing her commitment to offering the latest innovations in beauty.
Her hard work and passion have earned her numerous accolades including being named a Guinot Crown Salon eleven times and receiving the prestigious Salon of Excellence award—recognising ‘The Beauty Room’ as one of the top Guinot salons in the UK.
A proud resident of Smeeton Westerby, Liz has grown the salon while raising two beautiful daughters.
Reflecting on her journey, she shared:
“There has been a lot of change in Kibworth over the years. However, I feel truly blessed to go to work every day and see Jenna and my clients, who have been so wonderful and loyal. I will never forget the heartache of the Covid period, but it really showed the strength of our community. The support I received from my clients during those difficult times is something I will always be grateful for.”
