GEMS Charity Golf Day & Smeeton Open Gardens
Annual Charity Golf Day – 22nd August
Our annual Charity Golf Day this year is Friday 22 August at Glen Gorse Golf Club, Oadby. Teams of 4, £220 per team. This will again include bacon roll, coffee on arrival, 18 holes of golf followed by a meal. Afterwards with team and individual prizes. We will also be having a raffle. So if you are able to donate a raffle prize please contact me on my email. I will be happy to collect. This year we are looking for local businesses to have an opportunity to become sponsors for the event.

Smeeton Open Gardens – 22nd June
Also a reminder about Smeeton Open Gardens on Sunday 22 June. We have quite a few gardens opening and there will also be music at the Kings Head during the afternoon and plant sales, cake sales etc. A very exciting day! Details can also be found on the Open Gardens National Directory. If you would like to volunteer to help in any way, donating plants, making a cake or you like making crafts and would like a stall we look forward to hearing from you.
Stay after the Open Gardens and finish your day off with a relaxing drink and listen to Brass on the Grass on Sunday 22 June at 6pm who are kindly donating proceeds to GEMS. Always a lovely end to the day.
Your help towards these events will go towards our next project of providing a night of respite for LRI patients receiving their cancer treatment.
