Easter competition time…
‘We Are Kibworth’ are running an Easter Egg Hunt this Easter to help keep your little ones amused during the holidays. It will run from the 14 April – 26 April.
Various local businesses and organisations will display letters in their windows which, when you have spotted them all, will make up an Easter themed word. There also will be a colouring competition to spark their creativity, so crayons and glitter at the ready! We will display the entries in the window of the old Kibworth Books shop. (52 High Street, Kibworth Beauchamp) after Easter so they can spot their masterpieces amongst all the other entries!
In some windows you will spot an egg symbol, you can pop into those establishments to collect a little Easter treat, whether that is a little chocolate egg or an egg which can be decorated. Entry forms, along with a cut out and build Easter basket if your little ones would like to use it to collect their treats, will be available from Edmonds and Slatter Opticians, The Well and Kibworth Books.
‘We Are Kibworth’ will also be holding a raffle on Saturday 19 April. Prizes will include a haircut at Julian’s Hair Styles, a £25 voucher from Bridge 67, a hamper donated by Fox Country Properties, a voucher from S Dental, a £50 voucher from Edmonds and Slatter Opticians and a £30 voucher from The Beauty Room.
Don’t forget that on Saturday19 April we are organising several fun activities for you, including a special appearance by the Easter Bunny at The Swan’s Easter Fun Afternoon!
