Several members of the twice-monthly, Monday afternoon, Family History Workshop which gathers informally in Kibworth Community Library have been actively contemplating relaunching the currently dormant Kibworth History Society. (www.kibworth.org)

There are forms to complete at the Library and many people have already completed their forms. The initial meeting to see if reforming the Society is viable is to be held very shortly in the library – probably by the end of April.
If this appeals to you, the Society will follow on from the recent history season talks held over the last month or two, may we suggest you visit the library and complete the form. You can be contacted about the Society’s first meeting.
The Kibworth History Society ran for several decades until the two principal leaders either passed away or left the neighbourhood.
The motto is still relevant today
