There is Hope!
Thank you for publishing Mark Adams scientific explanation why we ignore the climate changing in these days, at our peril. It’s very well informed and clearly explains the reasons why we have to not only take it seriously, but also do something about it personally.
Thankfully, most of us are adapting the way we live but not quickly enough, with simple measures like changing our bank accounts away from the massively harmful ones still investing in the climate wrecking lying oil and gas companies, that could be investing in very profitable renewable energies instead! It’s a reason why Sustainable Harborough Community, following on from the Transition Town group, with Harborough Climate Action and Harborough Transport Action, came into existence as well as national groups like Friends of the Earth, with its local group in Leicester, and Climate Action Leicester and Leicestershire, both very active.
My apologies to more local groups in the villages also taking action. I hope if you read this, you will write to our wonderful Kibworth and District Chronicle and tell us of your existence. There is hope!
