Kibworth Band January 24

Not much to report this month as the main focus of the Band has been on rehearsals for the Area Contest on 2 March. Contests are the more serious side of Banding with this one being particularly important since it determines the Band’s national grading.

Currently the Band is in the First Section, equivalent to the Premier League in football, but unlike football its position is determined by its aggregate score over a three year period.

I will let you know next month how the Band did.
