Kaye Angus Accupunturist

Kaye Angus lives and works on her canal boat as a Roving Trader, spending much of her time in our local area from October to April. She also keeps bees further down the Leicester line near Yelvertoft in Northants. Kaye has been a beekeeper for more than 15 years, making a wide range of natural health and home products using honey, wax, propolis and pollen.

Recently her rear cabin on narrow boat Evanthia passed the Environmental Health inspection by Market Harborough District Council. She is now able to offer a full treatment including Acupuncture in her micro-clinic onboard. For Each local Authority she wants to work has to grant a Practitioner and Premises licence. This is to comply with the Bylaws section 15(7) of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982. It’s a one-off application, the same for any piercing establishment tattooist.

Treatments

Kaye is a qualified Acupuncturist, Massage therapist, Reflexologist and Herbalist. She also works in a Leicestershire Acupuncture clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Often fully booked treating patients with acute and chronic pain, anxiety, fatigue or ADHD. Kaye is specially trained in techniques for neurological conditions and offers treatment for post-stroke recovery. Many of her patients are elderly, enjoying having their aches and pains soothed or a gentle foot massage.

Acupuncture is especially safe and gentle for patients who have had surgery. The results can be profound and accupunture may be used safely in conjunction with prescribed medication.
