Kibworth Community Hub
Following the Christmas lull, the Kibworth Community Hub (At the Grammar School Hall) is gearing up for the 2024. We have our usual mix of regular users, Pilates, yoga, dancing and u3a etc. We are also looking forward to Last Minute Theatre’s annual pantomime. This year, it’s Dick Whittington which will be performed on 20/21 and 26/27 January with matinee and evening performances.
Improving Facilities
A new projector and retractable screen have been installed in the hall. This was paid for by a grant and will enable users to do professional presentations. There is the possibility of showing one-off films for special events.
Over Christmas a group met to clear out and rationalise the storage space around the hall. This is an ongoing operation which will result in much better use of our facilities. So far, we have cleared much of the clutter in the kitchen. We hope to continue to improve the kitchen facilities over the coming year.
Annual General Meeting
Our AGM has been set for 13 March at 7pm. We hope that as many Kibworth residents as possible will attend.
