Kibworth Band
Over the last few weeks the band have been working hard on their chosen test piece for the LBBA contest on Sunday 19 November. This is an own choice contest, which means that they have a free rein as to the piece of music they play. They have chosen Endeavour by a well known brass band conductor and composer, Philip Sparke. Held at Loughborough High School, the Band will be up against 11 other bands.
Before this they will be joining with the residents of Kibworth to play their part in the Remembrance Day service and then, dare I say it, they will be preparing for Christmas and in particular their annual Christmas Concert on Saturday 16 December. Held at the Kibworth Grammar School Hall, the concert will also feature Kibworth Centenary Youth Band. Tickets are available via our web site or in person from The Well, Kibworth.
