Our first joint production of ‘’Allo,’Allo!’ proved to be a great success with both cast and audiences alike. Performing to a full house each night, many messages of congratulations and praise came flooding in. “It was brilliant! Well done everyone!
What a talented group! It was hilarious!
This is very, very funny and so worth seeing,” are just a few of the comments.
It is also very gratifying when complete strangers come up to you in the street and say how much they enjoyed the show.
‘Allo,‘Allo!’was also a testament to the talent we have in the area, with just about everybody involved living in either Great Glen, Kibworth or very nearby.
Kevin Gilbert, the director, was really pleased with the final outcome and delighted with the audience’s response. He said, “Unbeknown to most people, it takes a great deal of time and energy to put on a show like this and so much hard work has to go on behind the scenes. But, at the end of the day, all of that hard work came together and I was extremely pleased with the final results.”
The two groups are now in discussion as to their next venture. Will it be a farce, a Christmas play, a musical? Well, you will all just have to wait and see.
