Kibworth Band May 22
News of the Band has been missing for the last couple of months mainly because Covid is still affecting our membership and activities. After the long enforced cessation of playing some players have not returned but we are pleased to say that we have attracted some new young players and are hopeful that things will gradually improve
We have engagements at Melton Mowbray Town Park on Sunday 12 June and Abington Park, Northampton on Sunday 7 August and are playing at a private function for the residents at Welland Place retirement complex on 20 August.
Some of the Kibworth & District Chronicle readers may remember that in our last article I wrote about the area contest which took place in Corby at the end of February. Least said about this the better. Suffice to say that we did not have a good result!
