Tree Felling Concerns

Dear Sir

Whilst out walking my dog by the Primary School recently I noticed the huge amount of trees that have been chopped down.

I wonder what the council’s policy is for replacing these beautiful mature trees, which play host to abundant wildlife in Kibworth?

Surely in this day and age we are all aware of the huge benefits to encouraging the growth of trees and thus the wildlife that lives there. The powers that be in Kibworth seem to be keen to destroy all of this to create a park area, which more resembles a golf course than park land.

And why do they seem so keen on decimating the grass by cutting it down to millimetres, chopping up the grass and creating a mud filled wasteland in the summer?
