‘A Life On Blue Peter – Challenges and Change At The BBC’. Alex Leger will delight us with his tales of producing the BBC’s Blue Peter programme with Peter Purves, Lesley Judd and John Noakes (seen climbing Nelson’s column).
He describes encounters with an erupting volcano, gorillas in Uganda, a life-threatening storm at sea and LuLu the baby elephant who ran amok, arguably creating the funniest moment in Blue Peter history.
Don’t miss this by joining us at Kibworth Grammar School Hall/Kibworth Community Hub at 2pm.
